Kensin’s lifelong pursuit of visual storytelling might have started in his native Taiwan, but studying filmmaking in Japan was where he honed his humanist style of directing. From helming the entire shoot as a Production Manager to the artistic and technical execution of VFX, Kensin wields a complete arsenal of skills that he uses to achieve a refined and contemporary aesthetic.
Not only have his short films been nominated for the Golden Horse Awards, IFVA in Hong Kong, as well as Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, his decades of experience have seen successful collaboration with international brands and artisans through over 300 TVCs. He is particularly adept at directing FMCG, beverages, automobiles, technology, and fashion product films.
In his free time, Kensin loves exploring new cities and taking long solitary walks.
